David returns to the baseball world as General Manager of the Rome Braves. He brings over twenty years of experience to the Braves’ front office, including stops with minor-league organizations Charleston RiverDogs, Greenville Drive, Greeneville Astros and Fayetteville Woodpeckers. Lane was crowned Appalachian League Executive of the year in both 2009 and 2010. Lane is also a three-time recipient of the Appalachian League’s Promotional Award of Excellence, receiving the award in 2007, 2008, and 2009.

When the Astros chose Fayetteville, NC, as the home of their newest Single-A affiliate, they chose Lane as the team’s first GM. The Fayetteville Woodpeckers averaged 3,632 fans per-game in their inaugural season under Lane in 2019. The Woodpeckers were also awarded the 2019 Patriot Award, an award presented to a team in Minor League Baseball for outstanding support of the United States Armed Forces and veterans, both at the ballpark and in the community.

In 2021, Lane helped launch the Birmingham Squadron, an NBA G-League franchise affiliated with the New Orleans Pelicans, as the General Manager.

Lane is a native of Spartanburg, SC and a graduate of Clemson University. While at Clemson, he earned a degree in Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management

Laura is in her first season with the Braves, responsible for the coordination of all special events. Graduating in Spring 2023, Laura will receive a BA in Sports Administration with a minor in Digital Storytelling. For the last three years, Laura worked as the Student Director of Football Operations for the Berry Vikings. Laura loves to watch football, cook, sketch, and paint in her spare time. A native of Jackson, Georgia, Laura is looking forward to staying in Rome and being a part of a great team. Go Braves!

Gavin joins the Rome Braves marketing and media staff as a Media Relations Intern for the 2023 season. A native of Ashland, Virginia, Gavin spent the last four years completing his studies at Berry College where he majored in Sports Communications. He played three years of college baseball for the Berry Vikings before shifting his focus to broadcasting and SID work. In 2021, Gavin began working for the Sun Belt Baseball League, Georgia’s premier summer wood bat league, where he interned as a radio broadcaster for the Waleska Wild Things. In year two with the SBL, he served as the Director of Media Relations and Communications for the Choccolocco Monsters in their inaugural season. Today, Gavin still covers Berry College baseball and offers pitching lessons to aspiring ball players.

Lora Greenway is a native of Elberton, GA, and joins the Rome Braves for her first season in 2023. Lora graduated from the University of North Georgia in December of 2022 with a degree in Graphic Design and a minor in Film Production. For the past two years Lora was a student worker with Athletic Creative Services Team for the UNG Nighthawks. She loves spending time with family and friends, traveling and watching sports.

Tyler Stinson, a native of Trion Ga., graduated from Trion High School in 2007. Tyler graduated from Shorter University in 2013 with a degree in Sport Management. Part of his coursework for graduation he started an internship with the Rome Braves in the summer of 2013. Tyler has worked in Food and Beverage for the Braves as well as parking crew before starting his full time journey as the Operations Manager in March of 2018. Tyler rejoined the Braves in 2022 after spending 2021 with Rome-Floyd Parks and Rec.

Tyler is a huge Georgia Bulldogs fan along with the Atlanta Braves of course. He loves watching college football on Saturday's along with fishing when he has time. He also loves spending time with his daughters Ella and Emery, and girlfriend Caitlin. He currently resides in Trion.

Katie Aspin enters her 9th year with Rome in 2023. Katie was recently promoted to Ticket Sales Manager after previously being an Account Representative.

Before joining the Rome Braves in 2014, Aspin worked for the Purdue University athletic department in Ticket Sales & Service. She has also interned for the Great Lakes Loons and Danville Braves minor league baseball teams.

The Michigan native graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcasting. She is currently single and resides in Rome. Aspin is an avid fan of the Michigan State Spartans and Atlanta Braves. She loves dogs, spending time with friends and family and going to the gym.

Austin graduated from Lagrange College in May of 2018 with Bachelor of Administration in Sports Management. Austin is a four-year collegiate-athlete and competed at the Division III level of baseball where he won two conference championships. Austin Joined the Rome Braves January of 2023 as the Manger, Corporate Partnerships. Austin and his wife Ivey got married in September of 2021. They currently reside in Cartersville. For fun, Austin loves to be on the Golf Course and watching Alabama Football. With a love and passion for baseball, Austin is excited to be on our staff and help grow the love for baseball.

Jackie graduated from Shorter University in December of 2020 with a Bachelor of Administration in Sport Management. She graduated in December of 2021 with a Master of Business Administration in Sport Management. Jackie is a four year collegiate-athlete and competed at the Division II level of softball.

Jackie rejoined the Braves as a full-time Sales Associate in June 2021, and transitioned to her current role of Ticket Manager in August 2021. She was the Box Office Trainee during the 2019 season and assisted in all ticket office tasks. For fun, Jackie likes watching sports or hanging with friends and family. She loves the city of Atlanta and is a sneaker collector.
