Executives

Brockman, 39, who grew up in Homewood, Illinois, about 120 miles from Beloit, has been named the Sky Carp’s new team president. His return to the Stateline Area follows the past five years as general manager for the Modesto (California) Nuts, the High-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners. A Homewood-Flossmoor High School graduate, Zach stayed in the Chicagoland area and became a 2005 graduate of Robert Morris University in Chicago. He then embarked on his career in minor league baseball, beginning with his first stint in Modesto as account executive and ticket sales director from 2007-2011. He then worked in front office executive roles with the Myrtle Beach (S.C.) Pelicans and Tulsa (Okla.) Drillers before heading back to Modesto.

Drew is a Beloit, WI native, and a graduate of F.J. Turner High School and University of Wisconsin – Madison. Prior to joining the Flock, his last stop was with the Chicago Cubs where he spent the last three seasons as a Business Development Executive.

Valentyn, a Milwaukee area native, serves as the team's VP - Entertainment. Prior to moving back to Wisconsin in 2021, she spent the previous four years out East in marketing roles within Minor League Baseball, including the last two as Director of Sponsorship Services with the Lehigh Iron Pigs, the Phillies’ AAA affiliate. She enjoys biking, playing golf, reading, and skiing in her free time.

Administration

Prior to joining the Sky Carp, Holly spent twenty years as the administrative assistant for the Midwest League where she assisted the League President in several different departments & capacities. Holly is a Beloit native, born and raised. In true Sky Carp form she doesn’t want to leave her hometown because it’s too awesome! In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, taking trips to their family cottage in Northwestern Wisconsin, boating, reading and going for long rides on her Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Joe is a graduate of Marquette University (Milwaukee, WI). Prior to joining the Flock, Joe served as the Taproom Manager and Shift Lead for Milwaukee Brewing Company. When not at the stadium, Joe enjoys skiing, hiking, playing golf, and watching TV/movies.

Ballpark Operations

Gene Wright is a life-long Beloit resident and known for spending the last 31 years in protective services. He started as a volunteer firefighter and progressed to Fire Chief and town administrator. Gene is also an instructor in Fire and EMS at Blackhawk Technical College and an adjunct staff member for the National Fire Academy. Gene and his wife Deb have raised four children and now have three grandchildren with a fourth arriving soon. Gene spends any spare time he has either with his family or coaching youth baseball & hockey. He is the cofounder of the Beloit Bombers Travel Baseball team and is an avid collector of sports memorabilia.

Originally from Oregon, Illinois. Jaymeson graduated from Oregon High School. After high school he went to Sauk Valley College where he played one year of baseball and studied Criminal Justice. After his freshman year of college, He decided to join the military (Army) where he spent 8 years in the service from 2003-2011. Jaymeson did two tours in Iraq and one in Korea. During his time in the service, he received and awarded the CIB (Combat Infantryman badge) and the Purple Heart. After his time in the service, he moved to Missouri where he work in the DOC as Correctional Officer and a Rec. Officer for two years before moving back home to Illinois. Once moving back home he went on to Kishwaukee College and studied Sports Turf management. He started with the Village of Davis Junction where he was apart of the parks department where they won the Field of the year for the state of Illinois (STMA). In 2016 Jaymeson went on to intern with the Milwaukee Brewers after his year with the Brewers, he became the Head Groundskeeper for Beloit (2017). In 2018 he went on and took a job with Midwest Athletic Fields as a labor worker. During the fall/winter of 2018 Jaymeson took a position with Belvidere School district as the Supervisor of Grounds. During his time with the school district Jaymeson and his crew won the Field of the Year for Illinois (STMA). In the spring of 2020, he became the Assistant Superintendent for Crystal Tree Golf and Country Club. In the spring of 2021 Jaymeson decided to come back to baseball and be apart of Beloit again as the Head Groundskeeper. When away from the ballpark, he enjoys spending time with family, hitting the golf links and going to sporting events.

Creative Services

Originally from Kansas City, Kansas, Matt graduated from the University of Kansas in 2021 with a degree in Journalism. During his senior year, Matt directed and shot an original documentary short that was selected to premiere at the Free State Film Festival! In his free time Matt enjoys cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals and taking in a movie (typically a horror film).

Merchandise and Community Relations

Before accepting a full-time role with the Sky Carp, Bob served as the Field Emcee, as well as assisting in all other facets of the Beloit Snappers. He's spent the last 23 years in retail management around the Rockford, IL area and is also a local high school public address announcer.

Villarreal is a graduate of Kishwaukee College in Malta, IL, where he studied Massage Therapy and Business Management.

A native of Chicago, IL, Bob is an avid fan of the Notre Dame Fightin' Irish and Chicago Bears. In his downtime he also enjoys writing, podcasting, and adventuring out into the world with his two children.

Media Relations

Flickinger, a native of Rockford and resident of Clinton, joins the team as Media and Public Relations Manager after spending the last 10 years as a sports reporter and editor at the Beloit Daily News. Flickinger has experience in Minor League Baseball, having been the PR Director in Greensboro for four years, and is a former Snappers intern who met his wife at Pohlman Field. Away from the office, the proud graduate of Iowa State enjoys spending time with his family, listening to Bruce Springsteen and running.

Food & Beverage

Michael brings strong operations and sports & entertainment background to the Sky Carp. He has worked for Levy and Spectra during his career, including stints at Lambeau Field and the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. In his free time Michael enjoys watching Yellowstone, golfing and is an avid Baseball fan.

Jared joins the Beloit Sky Carp Food & Beverage operation as the Assistant General Manager. He spent the previous 6 years working in Minor League Baseball with the Lehigh Valley IronPigs and Jersey Shore BlueClaws. Jared was born and raised in Southeastern PA (approximately 45 minutes Northwest of Philadelphia.) He graduated in 2012 from Millersville University with a Bachelor of Business Administration. Jared enjoys relaxing on the golf course, playing video games, and watching live sporting events in his free time. He is an AVID Philadelphia sports fan cheering for the Eagles and Philles.
