Seanez Returns from DL

The Salt Lake Bees announced today that the club has activated right-handed pitcher Rudy Seanez from the Disabled List.

Seanez, 40, was placed on the Disabled List on June 4 with a right pectoral muscle strain. He has appeared in three games for the Bees in 2009, owning a 2.70 ERA in 3.1 innings. Seanez joined the Bees on May 29 from extended spring training with the Angels.

Seanez was a member of the 2008 World Champion Philadelphia Phillies. The Brawley, Calif. native was originally selected by the Cleveland Indians in the fourth round of the 1986 draft.

The 39-35 Salt Lake Bees conclude a four-game homestand tonight against the Fresno Grizzlies at 7:05 p.m. at Spring Mobile Ballpark.
